Hi, I’m Hillary!

I’m a self-taught sewist, I love sewing, and I want to help you love it too.

If I had to tell you a mission statement, it would be something along the lines of: I want to spread the joy of sewing and break down the walls of uncertainty, accessibility, and intimidation. I want to form a community for the both of us to thrive and create in. I want to demolish gatekeeping and preconceptions that may be swirling around the sewing world and protect our creative curiosity. If you had a strict sewing teacher in your middle school home economics class - I am not that teacher.

I believe sewing can be as perfect or imperfect, as fancy or not fancy, or as expensive or accessible as you’d like it to be. This is about your personal sewing journey.
