Garment Sewing Fundamentals

Learn how to sew darts, gather fabric, and sew pockets, blind hems, facings and more. You can also learn how to use specialty sewing machine needles and feet, and how to choose and install interfacing. This class is great for beginners or anyone looking to make their garments look more professional or wanting to fine-tune their sewing skills.
All sewing machines, tools, and materials are included, but you’re welcome to bring your own if you’d like!
Becky Jane studied pattern making and design at Apparel and Arts in San Francisco, and has been teaching sewing and pattern drafting for 10+ years. She’s also the owner of By Becky Jane where she creates and sells custom apparel and accessories.
